Your Rights
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the requirements of Facebook (Meta) and Google, you have the right to request the complete deletion of your personal data from the Uplearny platform.
What Data Is Deleted?
When you request the deletion of your account, the following data is deleted:
- Your profile information (last name, first name, email, profile picture).
- Your login and authentication data.
- Your browsing history on the platform.
- Your course enrolments.
- Your authentication tokens (Google OAuth, Facebook tokens) are revoked and permanently deleted.
Note: Billing and payment data may be retained in compliance with legal accounting obligations (maximum retention period of 10 years).
How to Request the Deletion of Your Data
Option 1: By Email
Send an email to support@uplearny.com with the subject line "Uplearny Account Deletion Request".
Please include in your email:
- The email address associated with your Uplearny account.
- The name of the school/platform you are registered on (if applicable).
Option 2: If You Connected Your Facebook Account
You can also delete the data linked to Facebook directly from Facebook:
- Go to your Facebook Settings.
- Click on Apps and Websites.
- Find Uplearny in the list.
- Click Remove.
This will delete the data that Facebook shared with Uplearny. For a complete deletion of your Uplearny account, please also contact us by email.
Processing Time
Your deletion request will be processed within a maximum of 30 days from the date your request is received. You will receive an email confirmation once the deletion has been completed.
